Dining Hall To Add Fourth Meal

Students with late-night cravings and early-morning appetites have reason to celebrate: the campus dining hall will soon introduce a fourth meal option, expanding beyond the traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule.

The new meal, tentatively called Late Night Bites, is set to begin next semester and will run from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Dining Services hopes the addition will accommodate students with evening study sessions, late practices, or just those who can’t resist a midnight snack.

“We’ve heard from students that their schedules don’t always line up with the standard meal times,” said dining director Marcus Bell. “This new meal slot is designed to provide more flexibility and ensure everyone has access to nutritious food, no matter the hour.”

The menu for Late Night Bites will include a mix of hot and cold options, from pasta and stir-fry dishes to sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go snacks. Vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-conscious selections will also be available.

Some students are already planning their strategies. “I’m mostly excited about the late-night pizza and cookie options,” said sophomore Jamie Patel. “Studying for finals just got a lot more delicious.”

The addition of a fourth meal is part of a larger effort by Dining Services to enhance campus food options and student satisfaction. Administrators are also exploring extended café hours and more varied weekly specials.

Whether you’re a night owl or an early riser, the new meal plan is set to make sure no student goes hungry—or waits too long—between classes.
