Bubble Artist Wows Quad

Students on their way to class stopped in their tracks Monday afternoon when the quad transformed into a dreamscape of shimmering spheres. The unexpected performance came courtesy of visiting street performer “Professor Bubbles,” whose oversized wands and secret soap formula filled the sky with floating rainbows.

Some bubbles were small and quick, bursting the moment they landed on jackets or sneakers. Others stretched into dazzling shapes the size of beach balls, drifting lazily over the heads of laughing onlookers. “It’s like watching happiness float,” said sophomore Jasmine Patel, who skipped economics to stay and watch.

The artist, who has been traveling to colleges across the country, says their goal is simple: “People forget how magical something as ordinary as soap and water can be. I just give them a reminder.”

Clubs quickly joined in, with the Photography Society snapping action shots and the Student Union handing out bubble wands so everyone could participate. “It turned into a bubble mob,” joked one organizer.

As dusk settled, the last giant bubble caught the light of the setting sun before popping, leaving the quad filled with cheers, laughter, and the faint smell of soap.
